Because the world is filled with living things, multicolored creatures, gaudy plants, hybrid beings that seems to combine the features of flowers and animals that we humans may view as distortions, but upon close inspection can be quite breathtaking.  Because there are sea dragons, birds of paradise, clearwing sphinxes and spider plants that we just do not see.  We pay homage to this living and colorful world that is ours.
