Who We Are

Dr. John Bello and his staff at Advanced Vision Specialists are a premier eye care center located on the Northwest side of Chicago.  Dr. Bello has a strong reputation for being a prominent cataract specialist for over 20 years and we work hard to provide high quality eye care to our patients and their families.

Dr. John Bello, the sole physician of our practice, is a native of Chicago.  He encourages his patients to understand and participate in their eye care. Dr. Bello continues to remain at the forefront of modern medicine and feels it is important to address any visual symptoms his patients may experience.  In addition to providing general eye care needs, which include glasses and contact lenses, he also stays up to date on the latest technology in ocular management for diseases such as diabetic retinopathy , macular degeneration, glaucoma and cataracts.  Dr. Bello is also well respected by his peers for his surgical expertise.
